Personal Brand

Brief:

As a brand designer, the biggest and most frustating brief you can ever be given is to brand yourself.

As a mark and symbol that was going to not only represent who I was but also what I was capable of, I was adamant on having an identity that I would continue to be excited about as time passed.

I wanted to create an identity that was minimal, conceptual, portrayed a true representation of myself and most importantly, was mono-tone.

Solution:

The mark itself was a combination of my indian heritage, my love of geometric minimal design and the ligature ‘ab’.

This was enclosed in a circular lockup to give the mark a true and ownable ‘badge’ look and feel.

Of course, the most important part was picking the mono-tone palette that isn’t a pure black, but instead features a charcoal grey that is softer on the eyes.
