Brief:
Australia, like most countries with exceptional climates, is a nation of active and sports loving individuals.
With this growing interest in active lifestyles and healthier living, Coca-Cola Australia were looking to create a drink and brand that was focused on functional healthy hydration.
How do you create a water brand that speaks to an active lifestyle, but is approachable and engaging? A brand that speaks to the gym goer and yoga class taker, not to the elite sports star or pinnacle of performance?
Solution:
We designed the bottle and label with inspirational cues and art direction taken from athleisure brands. Inspired by the ingredients in the drink and the idea of "activating" one's self, we loved the conceptual idea of using holographic colours and foils to depict this feeling of actvation and hydration.
In order to give the product more standout and ground the idea of activation through holographic gradients, we partnered up with the Australian artist Nick Thomm to produce a series of artworks that would accompany the drinks launch.
